I see Dr. Hafiz and since I have been with SIU I feel like I have had better care. I was with Springfield clinic previously and I felt like the doctors just didn't listen to me when I was telling them about my symptoms and what was going on and I feel like my current doctor actually listens to me and is actually helping me get better with my mix of health conditions. That is strange to address my last doctor that was at Springfield clinic basically brushed it off and so there was no way that I could have multiple overlapping conditions cuz it was rare. But this doctor has been great. They immediately did lab work. They immediately did lots of research and was able to get my problem solved and somewhat in control better than I had it before. It would definitely recommend SIU for anybody

I am finding it challenging to manage the presence of SIU students shadowing the attending physicians. I feel as though my personal space and privacy are being compromised. While I understand the importance of their educational experience, I would prefer to decline student participation during my appointments at SIU.

Dr boozo is so awesome. Well everyone at siu is awesome. Dr boozo breaks things down tells you what to expect. Even the phlebotomist who take your blood. I hate needles. But I never feel the stick at siu. thank you all for being so nice and awesome plz don't ever change!! EDIT there's also a lady doctor mrs Priya she's also very very awesome. I had to show her something in my belly button, but had anxiety because of a stupid tattoo on my stomach. She said " don't worry about it" she's also very nice.

Dr Frances Lee had me in surgery for 8 hours. When she opened my neck I had an abnormal number of lymph nodes to remove. She and her students stayed at it for 8 hours not taking a break to finish my surgery. She saved my life. I had 4 cancerous lymph nodes out of the 61 that she removed. I liked her from the moment I met her and wish to thank her again for what she did for me. She has a beautiful bedside manner and is very caring of her patient. I am forever grateful to her and her student techs.
